Federal Cases in Cook County

In the past six weeks there have been 7-armed robberies of convenience stores and gas stations in Schaumburg.  The offender is described as a male, African American, light skin tone, 20 – 25 yoa, black hair, brown eyes, 5’08”, 160 lbs., medium build.  The offender enters the store wearing a mask and displays a handgun, demanding cash and taking cigarettes. The offender initially flees on foot, and then believed to enter a vehicle or use a bicycle.  The offender maybe be responsible for the following armed robberies:

• 1900 block of west Golf Road – 7/17/08, 4:10 am
• 2300 block of west Bode Road – 8/09/08, 8:57 am
• 0-100 block of south Meacham Road – 8/12/08, 4:19 am
• 1100 block of south Springinsguth Road – 8/18/08, 3:41 pm
• 2300 block of west Schaumburg Road – 8/24/08, 6:05 am
• 2300 block of west Schaumburg Road – 8/29/08, 6:25 am
• 1100 block of south Springinsguth Road – 9/04/08, 3:51 pm
